Watts is 6-foot-5, 307 pounds and was a sixth-round draft pick out of Arkansas by the Vikings in 2019. The 26-year-old played his first three seasons with Minnesota before spending the 2022 season with the Chicago Bears.
Watts faced the Steelers in 2021 with the Vikings and had a 9-yard sack of Ben Roethlisberger, which can be seen here.
Watts has appeared in 57 career games, starting 22, and has 115 tackles (47 solo) and eight sacks in his career.
Watts began his career playing seven games (one start) for the Vikings as a rookie in 2019. He finished that season with 11 tackles and 1 1/2 sacks.
Watts played all 16 games in 2020 and finished with 31 tackles and half a sack.
In 2021 he played in all 17 games for the Vikings, starting nine. He enjoyed his best season that year, recording five sacks and 41 tackles.
Watts was waived by the Vikings on Aug. 30, 2022 but signed with the Bears the next day. He played all 17 games and started 12 for Chicago this past season, recording 32 tackles and one sack.
Watts has had an interesting career. He didn't begin playing football until he was in high school, then at Arkansas, he played in only seven games and had just seven tackles over his first three seasons from 2015-17.
As a senior in 2018, Watts had a big year for the Razorbacks. He played in all 12 games, starting the final 11, which were the first starts of his career. He finished with seven sacks, 8 1/2 tackles for loss and 49 tackles (25 solo).
